Founded in 1986, Acadian is a leading quantitatively-oriented manager of active global and international equity, fixed income and alternative strategies. The firm pursues a fundamentally-based, data rich and highly structured process to investing that seeks to identify and exploit systematic and structural inefficiencies in the markets. Acadian employs a multi-faceted, proprietary analytic approach that applies a range of investment and risk considerations to a universe of over 40,000 securities taken from 60 global markets. Strategies managed include global, international and emerging markets equities, long/short strategies, managed volatility and fixed income strategies.
